RBQoL was founded in January 2021 and WITH THE SAME GOAL IN MIND, in November 2021 we joined forces with Right Of Say to speak to Metro at Redondo Beach City Council, then subsequently together we met with the Metro Planning Board to point out and discuss impacts to the North Redondo Beach communities along with Lawndale. We have been functioning as one group ever since.

We are united neighbors urging Metro to bring the Greenline (C Line) extension through the commerce sector of Redondo Beach, not through our residential neighborhoods. It just makes the most sense. We are working hard to preserve Quality of Life in our community by advocating for the peaceful enjoyment of our residential households.

Please join our quest for the Hawthorne Blvd ELEVATED profile, alternative 2e, and keep mass transit where it belongs. We need to ensure we don't get bogged down by running trains through our quiet communities every 6 to 10min, 20 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year, including holidays. This would be an egregious error that CANNOT EVER BE UNDONE.

This video demonstrates the falsehood of lightrails being described as quiet. The description on Youtube gives more details.

What it’s like now. Jet fuel freight 30 feet away from 8 foot back wall. Imagine moving that even CLOSER!
